Brandon Lindeman Memorial
Brandon Lindeman was a local sportsman who passed away in a car accident in 2012 at the age of 23. Diana, Brandon's mother, wanted to honor his memory with a place for everyone, especially his daughter, to be able to go to where Brandon wouldn't be forgotten. Diana worked with MFWA, Conservation Partners of America and the local Pheasants Forever chapter to purchase a 110 acre property that was adjacent to the Spieing WMA in Penn township, McLeod County. Together with the money they raised the farmstead and cropland was converted to native grasses and flowers. The formal dedication ceremony for the property was held Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019. Diana chose that date because it would have been Brandon’s 30th birthday. Brandon’s daughter, Willow, helped unveil the rock inscribed with Brandon’s name that sits at the entrance of the property.
Every year at our banquet we have a special gun raffle dedicated to Brandon. Scroll down to see pictures of previous winners.
